Proud to produce quality poles in Italy for every kind of activity: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, trekking, hiking, walking, trail running and tramping.

Benefits of walking poles

As walking poles provide an extra point of contact with the ground, people using walking poles are less likely to slip or fall. A walking pole also helps to distribute some of the weight from your legs to your arms, making heavy loads easier to carry, as well as improving balance. Walking poles will also help you to strengthen upper body muscles like biceps and triceps, while reducing stress on joints like the ankles, knees and hips.

Two is better than one

Many people purchase a single pole, which means they miss out on the huge advantage of using a pair of walking poles. Using a pair of poles means you effectively have a third leg when tramping, reducing fatigue. This is particularly beneficial when descending a steep slope as the pressure on the knees will be reduced by around 25%! A pair of poles also helps you get into a rhythm when walking, increasing your speed. An added bonus is that a pair of poles can be used to support an emergency bivvy sheet if required.

Key Technologies

Automatic Stop System

By using a unique patented Automatic Stop mechanism, this strap ensures safety and performance. In case of falls, the strap automatically unlocks, freeing the hand and avoiding possible injuries to the wrist.

Wing Lock

An external blocking system with an innovative shape: an aluminium wing that embraces the body in high-quality DuPont® plastic fixed on the pole, ensuring a firm and steady grip.

Clamper Blocking System

Allows users to adjust pole length quickly and simply without tools, only screwing the aluminium cog with fingers. The external system is lightweight, thanks to a compact and slim shape.

TIP-TOP System

Mud basket: to insert it, you only need to move it to the end of the guide ride on the support, securing it with an anticlockwise twist. To remove it, you simply fold the three flaps downwards simultaneously and twist the basket clockwise until it is released from the TIP support guides.

Calu®Tech aluminium alloy

A combination of aircraft grade 7075 aluminium alloy and pure carbon which creates a flexible, yet strong, light-weight alloy.
