A fully-featured Leatherman multi tool made in the USA with a 25 year warranty retailing for less than $100? Yes, you read that right. Leatherman has added two new members to their tool family, the Wingman and the Sidekick. These ‘entry level’ tools still offer all the essential tools in a compact, easy to carry package. Both are made of 420HC stainless steel so are very lightweight and for the first time for Leatherman, they feature spring-action pliers.

Like any good Sidekick or Wingman, these tools have got everything you need to back you up, including outside-accessible knife blades, a range of screwdriver options, bottle opener, wood/metal file, ruler, wire cutters and spring-action needlenose and regular pliers.  The Wingman (RRP $69.95) has 14 different tools in total, and differs from the Sidekick by its combo blade, robust scissors and a package opener. The Sidekick (RRP $99.95) has a total of 15 tools in one and has a plain edge blade, a saw, mini serrated knife, a lanyard ring and additionally comes with a leather sheath and carabiner accessory.  

As all Leatherman owners know, once you have a multi tool, you will wonder how you survived without one.
